Vaddio new HD cameras & systems -
ClearView HD-18
Vaddio has a new High Definition (HD) camera, the HD-18 a single 1/3" CCD camera with 18x optical zoom. It has been specifically designed to overcome many of the issues with other HD cameras on offer;
- Price - at £4.5k RRP the price jump from SD to HD is now considerably lower.
- Resolution and ratio - the HD-18 is the only HD camera that can currently support all HD resolutions (720p/1080i/1080p) and aspect ratios (4:3/16:9/cropped, squeezed & letterbox).
- wall & ceiling mountable - the HD-18 can be inverted and has no significant frame delay.
- Built in CAT5 - the standard camera has CAT 5 connection for video and power no optional CAT5 shoe required.
- Simultaneous HD & SD outputs.
- IR pass through - for use with VC systems.
- Lighting - the "right light" function adjusts image brightness levels 60 times p/sec for bright images in all lighting environments.
There are also a couple of systems available that utilise the Vaddio HD-18 high definition PTZ camera.
WallView HD-18 - makes use of the CAT5 connection capability
WallView CCU HD-18 - has the added benefits of a camera control unit that enables adjustment of colour, gain, pedestal, gamma and iris functions.
